"Doing it for Daniel" is a fundraising campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of a former student of mine, Daniel, who is now in the 5th grade. At the young age of 6 he was diagnosed with Leukemia and has been battling this disease ever since. He is a talented, gifted, and amazing individual, who has demonstrated so much strength in his life. In his name, and with other loved ones in our mind, we will raise money to fight blood cancers. Daniel, himself, has helped to create a unique ice cream flavor, which you can only buy here: Bananaberry Aloha! This flavor is Hawaiian themed, to represent the Olympic distance triathlon we will complete on the Big Island this April, and Daniel's own love for Hawaii, which he developed through a Make A Wish Foundation trip, where he got to swim with dolphins!
Here's How It Works: Order any kind of ice cream you would like. Order as many pints as you want. Any flavor you choose is amazing, and half of your purchase goes to fighting cancer! Half of all proceeds go directly to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All orders must be made online and the ordering period ends February 7th, so order fast!
Pints will be available for pickup at What's the Scoop? for one week: Thursday, February 25, 2016 - Thursday, March 4, 2016
